What you need to know
- Coverage is limited to chronic low back pain lasting 12 weeks or longer.
- Up to 12 visits in 90 days are covered, plus an additional 8 if you show improvement (20 per year maximum).
- Acupuncture for any other condition is not covered by Original Medicare.
